Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Swiss Ambassador to Tehran, Giulio Haas, who also represents the US interests in Tehran.
He said the US missile attack on Syria was 'ignoring internationally recognized mechanisms and disregarding the United Nations rules'.
Amir-Abdollahian said the US move would not only escalate tensions in the Middle East but would also encourage Daesh and other terrorist groups in the region.
Touching upon the dismantling of Syria's chemical weapons, he said the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad should not be accused of using chemical weapons.
He said the terrorist groups are accused of using chemical weapons in Syria.
Referring to the resolution which was recently adopted at the 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Dhaka, Bangladesh; Amir-Abdollahian described the humanitarian situation in Yemen as 'disturbing'.
He said aggression and use of force against Yemen are the main reasons behind famine, humanitarian crisis and growing terrorism in this Arab country.
Pointing to the increasing trends of parliamentary cooperation between Tehran and Bern, he said Iran warmly welcomes expansion of consultations and cooperation between Iran and Switzerland and trade commissions meetings aimed at facilitating the collaboration between the state and private sectors of the two countries.
The Swiss envoy, for his part, voiced his country's readiness to expand parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to the Syrian crisis, he said so far several meetings have been held for settlement of Syrian crisis, but the negotiations have brought about little progress due to the conflict of interests of all sides involved in the crisis.
The Iranian official and the Swiss envoy also discussed the latest regional and international developments in Syria, Yemen and the ways for boosting parliamentary cooperation.
