Russia launches missile attack on Daesh in Syria

Six missiles were launched to the Hama Governorate in the framework of the Syrian-Russian agreement against Nosra Front and Daesh in autumn 2015.

According to the channel 2 of Russian state TV, an ammunition depot and fortifications of Daesh terrorist group were destroyed in the missile operation.

Simultaneously Russian jet fighters targeted the armed vehicles escaping the area.

In addition to the airborne units located in Hamim base in Latakia Governorate, Russia has also used the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznesov, long-range bombers, battleships and submarines to target Daesh and other terrorist groups’ territories.
