President Rouhani wishes good health for Pakistani PM

'I'm so happy that after a successful surgery, you are passing the recovery period,' Rouhani said.

The president described Pakistan as a friendly and brotherly neighboring country, saying Tehran-Islamabad relations have deepened in the light of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's wisdom.

Iran and Pakistan enjoy common interests in the region and friendship and brotherhood is further strengthening day by day, Rouhani said.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani prime minister assured the Iranian president that Pakistan will always stand by Iran and is ready for all-out cooperation with Tehran government.

Nawaz Sharif wished all the best for the Iranian nation and government, saying he regards Iran as his second home.
