Official stresses on attracting more tourists

Talking to a group involved in tourism and cultural heritage, Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri said, “With great tourism potential our country enjoys and the capability tourism industry has for creating jobs and foreign currency attraction, it is becoming that the authorities pay special attention to that.”

Nateq-Nouri added, “The cultural heritage has received little attention, and also our antiques’ being plundered is of concern.”

He also said that in the recent years with the measures taken foreign tourists have showed increasing interest to visit Iran.”
