MP: Syrians, Iraqis thankful of Muslim fighters

Boroujerdi told reporters on Tuesday, “Had it not been for our yesterday combatants and personalities of the system today, such good events would not have happened in the region; role of such figures is crystal clear.”

The MP said, “Combatants during war and also combatants today have put their highly good experiences at the disposal of the oppressed people of Iraq and Syria; had it not been for Iran’s consultative feature, situation in the region would not have been as it is now.”

Noting that Iran has been highly successful in combating terrorism, Boroujerdi referred to the conduct of certain countries that have established ties with the Zionist regime of Israel, and said, “Such countries as Saudi Arabia chose a wrong path; a conspiracy like Saudi Arabia is meaningless.”
