Iran's envoy confers with Lebanese public security commander

Iran's Military Attaché in Lebanon Colonel Mohammad Reza Mirzaei was present in the meeting.

The two sides discussed regional developments and situation in Lebanon.

Lebanon security organization included three departments of General Security, Internal Security (police), and National Security as well as Military Security body.

The General Security Department missions are control of aerial, land and marine borders, airports and ports, issuing visa and resident permission for citizens of other states, fight against terrorism and organized crimes.

Iran is following up the lawsuits about two terrorist blasts in Lebanon; one in front of Iranian Embassy and the other was near Iranian cultural house.

Lebanese media recently announced arrest of a Takfiri terrorist name Ahmad Fazel, citizen of Syria and known as 'Abu-Tayyib' by Lebanese General Security forces.

Abu-Tayyib, who was declared to be a member of Takfiri terrorist group of 'al-Nusra Front', has confessed that he installed bombs in a large number of cars to be exploded by suicide attackers, including in front of Iranian Embassy in Beirut.

On November 19, 2013, a Saudi terrorist Majed al-Majed, who was heading one of the branches of al-Qaeda by two suicide bombers attacked the Iranian Embassy in Beirut.

In the terrorist attack 23 persons, including Iran's cultural attaché in Lebanon Ebrahim Ansari and wife of one of Iranian diplomats were killed and more than 160 Lebanese people were injured.

The Takfiri terrorist group of Abdullah Azzam Brigades again attacked Iran's Consular office in Lebanon a few months later and killed and wounded a group of innocent people.
