He said that setting a joint center to follow up the plan in Khorramshahr port will be helpful to carry out the dreging up operation.

Saeednejad said that cleanup of the river will open the space for more ships and vessels sail in the river.

He said that cleanup operation of the river will be helpful for the 15,000 to 20,000 tons ships to dock at Khorramshahr port.

He said that the cleanup operation will be initiated in the matter of weeks.

He said that launching maritime museum in Khorramshahr in cooperation with Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization will help turn the city port to a destination for tourists.
