Iran, Azerbaijan put visa waiver on agenda

Pakaeen said that Iran and Azerbaijan are willing to enhance level of consular cooperation to cancel visa formality step by step.

In the first phase, the two countries will provide the tourists with visa on arrivals at airports and in the second phase almost three months later, they will provide the tourists with visa on Astara and Bile Savar border crossings, the ambassador said.

Pakaeen said that in the third phase, Iran and Azerbaijan will complete their technical facilities to cancel visa formality.
