Iran rejects reports on receiving message from US

Kuwait’s Al-Rai newspaper has allegedly claimed that the US has conveyed a threatening message on regional issues to Iran via Russia.

There is no formal diplomatic relations between Iran and US since 1980. Instead, Iran has an interest section at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington and the United States has maintained a corresponding interest section at the Swiss Embassy in Tehran.
