8 passengers of cargo dhow rescued in Persian Gulf

A cargo dhow hoisting Iran’s flag was carrying plaster from Bandar Lengeh to Sharjah port in the United Arab Emirates and went astray in the water due to engine failure, he said.

The cargo Dhow asked for helped around 6:30 am local time and rescue boat rescued them very soon, he said.

The survived passengers were transferred to Lengeh port and all are in good medical condition, he said.
