Khuzestan team ranks 1st in Int’l Fajr Cup

Khuzestan team by winning 623 points in a close competition with Iran’s youth team ranked first.

Khuzestan, receiving 11 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze medals, also stood on the first place in medal rankings.

Turkish team by scoring 545 points ranked third.

Some 52 weightlifters in 12 teams from Iran, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Turkey, Italy,
Romania, Serbia, Thailand, Afghanistan, Cameroon and the US participated in the event which was held in Ahvaz, capital city oh Khuzestan, on 9-13 March.
