Iran wrestler grabs bronze in Hungary World Champs

Parviz Hadi in the weight category of 125kg defeated Russian rival and earned a bronze medal.

The World Wrestling Championships started on October 20 and will be underway until October 28.

After defeating Poland, Belarus and Turkey, Hadi advanced to the semi-finals.

Earlier, Hassan Yazdani in 86kg weight category snatched a bronze medal.

More than 850 wrestlers from 97 nations are competing to win one of the 30 world titles in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling, the United World Wrestling (UWW) website reported.
