Mehdi Mirkoh said on Monday, “This is an initiative aimed at expanding industrial activities, creating innovation, initiative and technical knowledge in the province, as well as realization of the slogan of the year in support of Iranian goods.
Referring to the fact that the registration of valuable products in different regions of the country was on the agenda of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and the Office for the Protection of Industrial Property, said, “These two valuable products of the province, in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in accordance with the Lisbon Convention, which Iran joined in 2004, has been registered worldwide.
The head of the Ministry of Education, Research and Technology of the Organization of Industry, Mining and Trade of Semnan province mentioned the goal of identifying the products of this export and assuring customers in international markets.
Referring to a one-year follow-up to this important issue, Mirkoh noted, “The Office for the Protection of Industrial Property of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, in cooperation with the Organization of Education, Research and Technology of Semnan intends to ratify the “Instruction for mentioning the International Code for the Protection of Origin Names of Products Registered in the World Intellectual Property Organization” in the Government and defines the QR Code for each product and communicates with the website of this ministry.
