Iran ranks 3rd in Int'l Army Games 2017

Iranian team grabbed the third title in map reading field.

After spotting 19 targets in 2 hours and receiving 58 points, Iran defeated Venezuela, South Africa and Kazakhstan.

The event consists of parachuting, running, shooting, biathlon, targeting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), chemical attacks, etc.

International Army Games 2017 is held jointly in 17 fields in China, Russia and Kazakhstan.

The first round of Army Games was held by the initiative of Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and with the attendance of 1,200 athletes from 16 countries in 2015.
