Iran ranks 2nd in Baku Int’l Karate Tournament

The event was held in Kata and Kumite sections and with the attendance of 360 athletes from Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and Georgia on March 11-12 in Baku.

In the two-day tournament, Iran snatched 8 gold 9 silver, and 29 bronze medals.

Azeri team ranked first in the event and Saudi Arabia stood on the third place.
