Iran claims world title in 2016 World Classic Bodybuilding Championships

Some 235 athletes from different countries were present in the competitions.

Iran received two gold medals by Rouhollah Mirnourahi and Mehdi Parvani in up to 168 cm class and up to 171 cm class respectively.

Iran's representative in up to 180 cm class Mohammad-Reza Jafari came third to clinch bronze medal.

In over 180 cm class, Keyvan Rezapour and Hesam Khosravi came first and second respectively to bag another gold and a silver medal for the Iranian team in the competitions.

In the previous edition of the tournament, Iran had ranked second.
