AFC said with 16 teams looking to gain pride in Asia's continent and seizing four quotas in the Under-17 World Cup in 2019 in Peru, there will be promising tournament,. The future stars of Asia will showcase their booming skills in the Malaysian-backed host tournament scheduled for September 29th.
The official AFC website has reported on the competition of four teams in the group C.
* Iran
The Iranian team has been present in 10 rounds of the tournament, and the best result is the 2008 championship.
Iran is one of the most successful countries, however, has only once won the championship in the Under-16 Championship. The Iranian team was again on the brink of victory in 2016 but lost to Iraq in the final. This loss was more painful because it was hit by penalties, but surely they got them to be proud in Malaysia.
* Vietnam
