Zarif to depart for Indonesia tonight

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Sunday afternoon that the first summit of the union is to be held in Jakarta on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its establishment.

Qasemi said that the 3-day meeting is holding in three levels of senior experts, ministers and heads of states in March 5 to 7 in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, and Zarif is participating in summit meeting on behalf of Islamic Republic of Iran.

IORA expert meeting held on Sunday and Director General for international affairs, environment and sustainable development Majid Bismarck headed the Iranian delegation, while Iran’s Ambassador to Indonesia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi was present in the meeting as well.

Issues like maritime security and safety, trade and investment, fishery management and scientific cooperation are among topics of discussions in the meetings.
