Zarif meets Guterres in Munich

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Zarif, who is in Germany to attend the 53rd Munich Security Meeting met with the UN Secretary General Guterres and discussed issues of mutual interests.

Zarif had meetings with Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, President of Iraqi Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani, President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, foreign ministers of Spain, Oman, Britain, Russia, Turkey, France, Ukraine, UN secretary general special envoy for Syrian Affairs Staffan de Mistura and a group of diplomats and international characters.

Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi, deputies of foreign minister, are accompanying Zarif in this trip.
