“In view of the problems that are prevalent in the field dust particles over past years in some provinces, the first international conference by the UN on dust particles will be held in Iran in the near future,” Ebtekar told reporters on the sidelines of Crisis Management to review the conditions of affected people in Khuzestan province’s dust storm.
She vowed to follow up international and regional cooperation in the field, and said, “We have talked about the concentration of dust particles; we will also follow up these issues through foreign ministry.”
“We will try to make use of the technical and specialized capabilities of the international bodies and attract different countries’ cooperation because major part of the origin of dust particles enter Iran from Iraq and Saudi Arabia,” Ebtekar said.
