Tehran to follow up case of disrespecting Iranian nationals at Turkish border

“Authenticity of the video has not been confirmed yet and the case is now under investigation,” the ambassador told IRNA in an interview.

He told those who are to lodge complaints in this connection can do it through Iranian embassy in Turkey or any other judiciary offices inside Iran.

“Iran foreign ministry under no circumstances let disrespect for Iranian nationals in the neighboring countries and is to show proper reaction in dealing with any disrespect or beating up according to international rules and regulations, he said.

Two days ago, a movie went viral showing disrespect and beating of a number of people.

Those who shared the video claimed that the people that were subject to disrespect are Iranian nationals beaten up by Turkish border guards at Gorbolag border point near Iran’s Bazargan border crossing in Iran.
