Tatarstan president condoles with Iranians on deadly bldg. collapse

Plasco Trade Center collapsed while the firefighters were trying to extinguish the fire in the building. Sixteen firefighters were killed under the rubble.

Latest reports released on Friday morning indicated that the number of those wounded at the incident has risen to 235.

In his message which was submitted to Iran's consulate general in Kazan, Minnikhanov condoled on his behalf and on the behalf of his people with the Iranian nation, particularly the bereaved families of the victims.

Minnikhanov said he was very saddened to hear the news about building collapse in Tehran.
