Singaporean president congratulates Rouhani on his reelection

“Your strong electoral mandate reflects the high level of trust the Iranian people have in you and your tireless efforts to reintegrate Iran into the international community and global economy,'Singaporean president said addressing his Iranian counterpart.

The message released by Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads, 'Iran and Singapore have enjoyed friendly and long-standing ties. I am confident that with your support, the friendship between Iran and Singapore will continue to flourish.'

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” it said.

Rouhani won a landslide victory on Friday by garnering over 23.4 million votes (57 percent of more than 41 million cast ballots) and became president for another four-year term.
