
Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Lebanese State Minister for Parliament Affairs Ali Qansou.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional developments, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine in particular, challenges threatening Islamic and Arab countries, tackling terrorism and fostering regional peace via settling Syria crisis through political means.
Hailing Iran's endeavors for combating terrorism and the Zionist enemies, Qansou, for his part, voiced the Lebanese side's willingness to strengthn cooperation with Iran.
He also appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran for supporting the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples and governments and standing by Syria in its counter-terrorism efforts.
Qansou also called for expansion of Lebanon-Iran all-out cooperation in economic, political and trade arenas.
