Emir of Kuwait extends condolences on Plasco bldg. collapse

In his message to President Hassan Rouhani, Al-Sabah wished God's forgiveness and blessing for the victims of the tragic incident and quick recovery for the injured.

Meanwhile, Speaker of Kuwait National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim also in a message to his counterpart Ali Larijani expressed condolences on the sad occasion.

The Crown Prince of Kuwait and Deputy Commander of the Military of Kuwait Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Prime Minister of Kuwait Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also in separate messages extended condolences over the tragic incident.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed in downtown Tehran on January 19 while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.

Plasco, built in 1962, was the first high-rise building in the Iranian capital.
