Senior cleric criticizes int’l bodies’ silence towards Saudi crimes

Referring to potential changes in Hamas charter which reportedly recognizes Palestinian state with 1967 borders, he criticized the action, noting that Jihadi groups have not accepted it.

The cleric criticized inking the UNESCO 2030 document by the government, adding that the officials should be cautious on the agreements they ink with foreign countries and international institutions.

He called for pursuing the needs of vulnerable people, adding that helping the poor and resolution of unemployment is the priority of Islamic establishment and the executive branch of power.

Seddiqi urged the presidential hopefuls to attach importance to country’s independence and dignity.

He cautioned about the provoking sectarian differences in the country, adding that all those who are involved in the election process, should be bound to the country's laws.

“Frightening people of war, the East and the West is not compatible with the revolutionary spirit of our people,”
said the senior cleric referring to certain statements put out during the recent days presidential campaign in Iran.
