Sadr made the remarks in response to a question over indirect links between Washington and Moqtada Al Sadr on forming new government.
Sadr referred to his recent Tweets, and said, 'We have not changed our principles and positions.'
According to Iraq's media, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a phone call congratulated Sadr coalition victory and expressed readiness to maintain cooperation with Iraq.
Meanwhile, Sadr extended hope for developing relations with other neighboring countries, especially with Turkey which is playing major role in the region.
It’s worth noting that in the wake of Sadr coalition standing on top in election list, some media have promoted a hype regarding Sadr stances on US military presence in Iraq and relations with Saudi Arabia and Iran.
During the 4th round of parliamentary elections in Iraq, Sadr coalition with 54 seats, Hadi Al-Amiri with 47 seats and Haider al-Abadi with 42 seats stood on the 1st to 3rd places.
