According to the report of the Presidential Office website, President Rouhani wrote 'I would like to offer my most sincere greetings on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Islamic Republic of Iran and Uzbekistan Republic to Your Excellency, government and people of Uzbekistan.

Undoubtedly, deep historical ties between Iran and Uzbekistan are strong backups for mutual ties and over past years, the two sides were able to take effective steps in the direction of growth and development of mutual cooperation in different fields, Rouhani wrote.
