Iran appoints permanent representative in WCO

The appointment took place simultaneously with the expansion of relations between Iran Customs Administration and WCO and the necessity to promote customs cooperation level with members of such important international body.

Masoud Atefi was already director general of Mashad Customs Organization.

WCO was founded in 1952 with name of Customs Cooperation Council and now with 159 member-states, is the sole global organization for working on customs affairs. Its headquarters is in Brussels.
