
Quds Day demonstrations started in Tehran today at 10:30 with demonstrators chanting anti-Israeli slogans along the streets leading to University of Tehran which occasionally hosts Friday prayers.
Quds Day rallies started nationwide so that the Iranians will unanimously urge liberation of the occupied territories and make the world hear voice of the defenseless nation.
Quds Day rallies are held each year on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan after Imam Khomeini declared the date as International Quds Day one year after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979.
