President Rouhani awarded honorary doctorate by Moscow State University

The awarding ceremony was attended by the rector of the Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy, officials and professors of the university as well as members of the Iranian delegation accompanying the president in his visit to Moscow.

At the ceremony, Sadovnichiy said that the award is presented to the Iranian president for his worthy measures taken towards strengthening scientific and academic relations between Russia and Iran.

Iranian president heading a high-ranking delegation arrived in Moscow on Monday (March 27).

In Moscow, President Rouhani is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. This is going to be the ninth meeting between the two presidents.
