Pakistan, Iran inseparable: Pak top Senator

Talking to IRNA, Senator Raja Zafarul Haq said it is basic principle of Pakistan’s foreign policy to have best of the relations with the Islamic countries especially with the neighboring Islamic countries and Iran is one of the most important of them.
“We are inseparable,” he reiterated.
Expressing his views on the current bloody violence in Indian controlled Kashmir and the role of the UN to halt the violence, member of Pakistan ruling party said, 'The performance of the United Nations is 'zero' on issues related to Muslims.'
The politician also said that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is also split and divided and lacks sense of direction and needs to be revamped.
He also asked the international community to come forward and play its role to stop human rights violations in Kashmir.
He further demanded the implementation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir to resolve the long standing issue of Kashmir.
In the wake of clashes between protesters and security forces in Indian Kashmir, over 60 people have been killed and scores of other wounded.
On July 20 'Black Day' was observed in Pakistan and mass rallies across the country were held to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
