Iran, Syria enjoy strategic relations: Boroujerdi

He made the remarks in a meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Thursday.

Iran would continue its support for Syria in fight against terrorism, the official added.

He noted that Aleppo developments are a turning point on the way of resolution of Syria crisis.

Due to sacrifices made by the Syrian Army, this country will celebrate its victory over terrorism in the near future, Boroujerdi underscored.

He said that terrorists will come back to hunt their supporters some day and Syria is paying the price for certain states conspiracies against the region.

During the meeting, Syrian prime minister for his part said that Damascus is serious in fight against terrorism and in cooperation with friend countries try to reconstruct country’s production capability.

He praised Iran’s support for Syria against terrorism and underlined execution of mutual agreements signed between the two states in field of energy and other areas.
