MPs support Iran missile attack on Daesh

IRGC on June 18 targeted Daesh base in eastern Syrian Deir ez-Zor Province. The forces said that the attack was conducted in retaliation of the group's twin terror attacks in Tehran parliament and Imam Khomeini's Mausoleum that claimed the lives of 18 people.

“We, the members of parliament, emphasizing the necessity of protecting the global peace and serenity, condemning the US and its allies’ movements to make the region insecure, and warning the terrorism sponsors, express our support for the missile attack of IRGC against the plotting base of Daesh, which was carried out in response to the terrorist group’s blind operation,” reads the statement.

The statement which was read out in the public session of Iran’s parliament (Majlis) on Wednesday also urged the Iranian authorities to foil and nip the plots hatched by the nation’s enemies in the bud .
