MEP calls for boosting Iran-EU ties

Gabriel made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Bulgaria Abdollah Norouzi.

During the meeting on Thursday, the two officials stressed increase of cooperation between Tehran and Sofia.

They also underlined importance of development of cooperation between Iran and Bulgaria.

During the meeting, Gabriel referred to the cooperation between terrorist group of Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) and Saudi Arabia and expressed concern about it.

The Iranian envoy provided Gabriel with a report on Iran’s stances on the Middle East after the nuclear deal reached between Iran and G5+1.
