Maximal turnout in elections to guarantee power of diplomacy: Envoy

“Taking into consideration that religious democracy is epitomized by the participation in running the country, and that the Constitutional Laws give us the right to be the master of our own destiny, Iranian people should take active part in the elections in order to use the right to manage the country and determine their own destiny,” said the ambassador.

Saying that partaking in the election is ‘necessary’, Nasabadi added, “In addition to the fact that election is among the most important factors of political development, it also illustrates public support for the ruling system and will result in the system’s authority.”

He also said that people’s presence removes many threats and fortifies national glory and, as the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said, people’s participation is the country’s power and deterrence.

He hoped to witness a high turnout in the upcoming presidential election so that the enemies get disappointed and the Islamic Republic becomes proud once again.

He also pointed to the positive effect of the nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), on the relations between the two countries and said, “The relations between Iran and Indonesia has enjoyed an eye-catching growth in the last two years.”
