Kuwaiti Emir congratulates Rouhani on reelection

He extended his congratulations in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Reza Enayati. The meeting was held on the occasion of the beginning of the fasting month of Ramadan which began on May 27 in Iran and a number of regional states.

The meeting was attended by the country’s high-ranking officials as well as ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Kuwait.

Enayati conveyed President Hassan Rouhani’s greetings and congratulations on Ramadan to the Emir of Kuwait.

Rouhani won over 23.4 million (57%) of votes on May 19 elections and was re-elected for another four-year term in office.
