Islamic-Iranian Art Gallery opens in Spain

The opening ceremony was attended by Iranian ambassador to Spain Mohammad Hassan Fadaie Fard, Iranian cultural attaché, members of the embassy and Spanish fans.

45 artistic works in various fields such as painting, miniature, calligraphy, Quranic gilding and Go-o-Morgh which is a particular style of Persian painting featuring bird and flora in different colors have been displayed.

Speaking in the opening ceremony of the event, Fadaie Fard said that art has played a crucial role in developing ties between Iran and Spain.

He pointed to good political, economic, parliamentary and cultural ties with Spain, saying that holding this event would help bilateral activities and cooperation to continue.

'The 400th anniversary of establishing relations between Iran and Spain will be held on February 16,' he said.
