IRGC destroys 2 terrorist gangs in northwestern Iran

The public relations department at the IRGC ground forces issued a statement on Thursday, saying two terrorist anti-revolutionary groups entered the border region of Oshnavieh on Wednesday to cause instability in the country.

Soldiers in Hamzeh Seyyed-ol-Shohada (AS) base of the IRGC ground forces tracked down the terrorist gangs and broke them up in clashes, killing 12 members of them, the statement said.

A significant number of weapons and equipment, as well as documents, were seized from the terrorists, it added.

Three IRGC forces were also martyred in clashes with the terrorist groups.
