Iran's Zarif confers with German counterpart in Berlin

The two top diplomats met in a German Foreign Ministry guesthouse and discussed development of bilateral ties and implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Zarif and Steinmeier talked for half an hour behind closed doors and then appeared before journalists at a joint press conference to to answer questions.

Iranian foreign minister, who has been invited by his German counterpart to visit the country, arrived in the European country on Wednesday.

He is expected to join his German counterpart in a dinner banquet especially held to serve the Iranian delegation as a break-fast meal ceremony.
