Iran senior police official attends INTERPOL meeting in Bali

Over one thousand representatives from 164 world countries including Iran have taken part in the INTERPOL meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Indonesia’s Vice President Muhammad Yusuf Kalla said, 'We are here because the INTERPOL General Assembly is a forum to realize global interests related to our shared responsibility in protecting and securing the global community,' the INTERPOL website reported.

On the aim of the INTERPOL general assembly, the website wrote detection, investigation, prevention and prosecution of organized crime groups operating across a range of illicit markets and addressing the increasing sophistication and diversification of the modus operandi of cybercriminals will be addressed during the conference.
