Iran, Oman stress expansion of parliamentary relations

During a meeting in Muscat on Thursday, the two officials expressed satisfaction over the outstanding level of bilateral ties between Tehran and Muscat, calling for the formation of Iran-Oman Joint Parliamentary Friendship Committees.

In the meantime, Al-Mawali condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran on July 7, sympathizing with the Iranian government and people and the families of the victims in particular.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, presented a message by Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan to the Speaker of Oman’s Consultative Assembly.
