Iran, Dagestan review cultural co-op against extremism

The meeting was attended by Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Moscow Reza Maleki and Minister of National Policy of Russia’s Dagestan Republic Tatiana Gamaley.

Maleki, in the meeting that was held in the capital city of Dagestan, said there are many opportunities for the two sides to strengthen cultural and religious relations.

The cultural official further stressed that extremism is a route that ends in terrorism.

For her part, Gamaley said Dagestan welcomes cooperation with Iran as there is a threat of extremism in this Russian Republic.
