Intelligence Min: 27 elements of Daesh terrorist group arrested

According to the report of Intelligence Ministry website on Monday, the statement said on the eve of swearing-in ceremony, forces of the ministry succeeded to arrest a group of terrorists affiliated to Daesh, who intended to conduct terrorist operations in religious cities of the country.

It said in the operation, which was in exchanging information with one of regional intelligence services, some weapons were discovered and confiscated.

The statement added that the terrorists were trying to transfer weapons and ammunitions by hiding them in home appliances and in this concern 10 persons were arrested beyond the borders and 17 inside the country.

According to the report, it was due that five persons to do operations inside the country and the rest of them play supporting and logistics role for operational group.
