Caspian Sea littoral states agree on several draft documents

The 51th meeting of the special working group on preparing the convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea (May 21-24) ended its work in Astana at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the Caspian Sea littoral states, the press service of the Azerbaijan Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During the meeting, along with the draft convention, other documents relating to the fifth summit of the Caspian Sea littoral states were discussed.

Next meeting of the special working group is also to be held in Kazakhstan and its time will be decided on through diplomatic channels of the 5 littoral states.

The fifth summit of the Caspian Sea littoral states heads is expected to be held in the Iranian month of Shahrivar (August 23-September 22).
