Boroujerdi and his entourage conferred on Tuesday with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam on issues of mutual interests as well as regional developments.
In the meeting Iran's Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Fathali was also present.
Boroujerdi conveyed the warm greetings of First Vice President Eshaq Janangiri to Lebanese premier.
After the meeting, Boroujerdi told reporters that he exchanged views with Lebanese prime minister on prospects of mutual relations and suitable opportunities to broaden all out relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Iran believes that Lebanon is on the front line of resistance to Israeli occupation, he said.
They studied various developments in the region such as in Iraq and Syria, failed coup in Turkey, Camp David Accords, he said.
Boroujerdi expressed regret over normalization of political ties between Saudi Arabia and Zionist regime which is regarded as the number one enemy of the Islamic and Arab world.
'Regretfully, we are witnessing that the issue of Palestine as the essential issue of Islamic and Arab ummah is under threat due to Camp David Accord along with the efforts of some countries to normalize relations with Zionist regime,' he said.
Iran strongly condemn these agreements and such efforts, he said adding that 'We believe that these measures never deviate us as well as the zealot people in world from the right path from the issue of Palestine.'
All people know that late Imam Khomeini called for severing diplomatic ties between Iran and the then Egyptian government to denounce the shameful Camp David Accord, Boroujerdi said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes resumption of talks between Lebanese political parties, he said.
