3 killed, 8 injured in Kabul attack: Police

The suicide attacke occured in an area near the residence of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan government Mohammad Mohaqiqh.

His office declared that 20 people were killed and injured in the incident.

An IRNA reporter at the scene of the incident said that the casualties were transferred to hospital and the streets leading to the area were blocked by security officials.

A car near the residence of the Afghan official was the target of the attack at about 7 am (local time). The car passengers’ identities are unknown and they are not accounted for yet.
