VeeP urges accelerating water transfer project in Kerman

“The main obstacle Kerman Province is facing on its way for further development is the scarcity of water resources,” Jahangiri said during a meeting with Kerman Province parliamentary representatives.

“The project to transfer sea water from the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman to Kerman Province is going to be a successful plan and in case it is viable, the project could be served as a role model for other provinces,” the First Vice- President said.

The government is going to use all in its capacity to address the shortage of water in Kerman, Jahangiri said.
