
Head of Foreign Ministry Liaison office in North and East Gholamabbas ArbabKahles said on Thursday the MoU was signed by Governor General of Razavi Khorasan during his visit to Tatarstan.
The official visit of the Iranian economic delegation to Tatarstan concluded on Wednesday night but members of the Iranian delegation follow up the implementation of the deals inked between the two sides, ArbabKahles said.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed expansion of economic cooperation in various sectors such as industry, spare parts, agriculture, foodstuffs, oil and gas, he said.
In addition to signing joint cooperation deals, the private sectors of the two sides also signed agreements on exporting baby formula and setting up a trade center, the official added.
To take into force, the deals need to be officially ratified in Iran and Tatarstan, he said.
Tatarstan is an autonomous republic within Russia, east of Moscow.
