
According to the plan proposed in year 2013 by President Xi Jinping, Asia and the Middle East will have broader connections with Europe.
Tayebnia said the idea called ’ One Belt - One Road’ is important, adding the plan wil increase solidarity among countries.
He called Iran and China two strategic partners, whose bilateral ties are expanding and the idea to revive the new Silk Road can add a new chapter to bilateral cooperation.
Tayebnia will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international conference of China Silk Road, which is to be held on May 14-15 in Beijing.
1,500 delegates, including 850 foreign guests from 130 countries and 70 international organizations are attending the conference.
The participants are going to discuss a wide range of issues such as infrastructures, investment, economy and trade cooperation, energy and resources, financial cooperation, cultural exchanges, the environment and maritime cooperation.
